Whether you’re stopping by for a late-night snack or a family meal, El Oaxaqueño 2 delivers on both quality and warmth, inviting you to savor the true heart of Mexican home cooking.
Autentic south west mexican food. Great taste. But be prepared to exit of the dining room smelling mexican food. There is no separated kitchen from the dining room. Good service in my experience. Great variety of dishes. We had. Mexican shrimp cocktail. Beef chimichanga, Fajitas And beef stomach (tripe) stew if you don't know what it is (google "menudo soup")
Take out for a late-night snack with my pregnant wife. Chips and fries were delicious. Check the photos. Tasted as good as it looks. Will be going back to try all the other stuff.
Food was really yummy! Servers were all very friendly and helpful. Food was prompt and hot. We ordered quesadilla, tacos, chimichanga, grilled marisco, and the tlayuda. Flavorful and fresh. Would recommend to others. Bathrooms could use cleaning, tho.
I’ve been coming here for almost 30 years and it’s my favorite taco place anywhere. So worth the drive from Hunterdon county. Friendly service and the best tacos at reasonable prices.
Great, great tacos in NJ. It gets crowded and they often get the orders wrong, but the tacos are tasty and well prepared so I am willing to let that go. Also, the menu is not updated but add $1 to every item so you won't get surprised with a large check.
If you want authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go. It is a hole in the wall spot but so worth it! I got the asada flautas , which were delicious, crunchy, and filling. Also, the fresh pico was AMAZING! It had a taste of lime and a kick from the jalapeños, which is for the table when you sit down. The service was great. I will definitely be coming back.
Authenticity is the key stone of the food here and we’re delighted with our selections. Place is really busy and the smell of the food makes me really hungry. Food was served quick and very tasty.
